Cantaloupes Cut Chic

For Classic Fruit

The Brief

What they wanted.

Classic Fruit grows and ships California cantaloupe at scale, and their visual library had stopped keeping up with the brand. They needed a refreshed asset set strong enough to carry sales collateral, the website, social, brochures, and posters, and modern enough to land in front of a buyer or a consumer without looking like every other produce shoot. The ask had two halves. One: real harvest, in the field, with the people who actually grow the fruit. Two: lifestyle imagery that felt authentic and trend-aware instead of clip-art-perfect.

The Solution

What we made.

We split the production across a day and a half: one shoot for the source, one for the story. Morning one was harvest in the fields outside Coalinga: hands on melons, dust catching the light, the workers and the work that actually feed the brand. The rest of the production was lifestyle, built around three audiences Classic Fruit actually sells to. A teen friend group around a chic picnic setup, polaroids on the blanket, real smiles, no posing. A young family in the kitchen balling cantaloupe together, flour-on-the-counter authentic, not stock-photo clean. And a millennial crew leaning into the active, healthy, on-the-go side of the fruit. One coherent library. Sales collateral, web, social, brochures, posters. Every channel covered from a single production.
